Corporate Governance

The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, governed by its Non-Executive Board and supported by trusted professional advisors.

The Board sets the strategic direction of the Foundation, oversees its financial stewardship, and holds the Executive Director accountable for the faithful execution of its mission. Board members serve without compensation and bring a breadth of experience across public service, business, ministry and civil society.

Day-to-day operations are led by the Executive Director in partnership with the Director of Engagement. Independent professional advisors provide counsel on financial, legal and regulatory matters, and annual financial records are prepared in accordance with U.S. non-profit standards.
