"Prayer doesn’t prepare us for the greater work;           prayer is the greater work."
 Oswald Chambers

"Prayer doesn’t prepare us for battle; prayer is the battle. It doesn’t matter where we are nor how God has engineered our circumstances; our duty is to pray. Never allow the thought, “I’m of no use where I am.” You certainly can be of no use where you’re not."

"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Program & Initiatives: Projects

In early 2020, when the World Health Organization declared Covid-19 a global pandemic, little was understood about the virus. Amid rising alarm over potential loss of life, former Co-Chairs of the U.S. House Prayer group suggested convening an online prayer meeting for the nation and its leaders.

On March 15, 2020, we utilized Zoom to establish this prayer group, involving elected representatives and intercessors from across the U.S. Due to strong enthusiasm, we were asked to meet again the following Sunday.

Since then, dedicated prayer warriors from various nations have joined us biweekly. By Christmas Day 2025, we will reach our 500th consecutive prayer meeting. A key principle remains: we pray for all leaders, regardless of personal preferences, taking our lead from scripture.

“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”

‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Please join us every Wednesday and Sunday at 4:30 PM Eastern time as we pray for all leaders and followers of Jesus.

Praying for Nations

"Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭105‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭32‬ ‭NIV‬‬

House of Representatives

When regular Wednesday afternoon prayer time coincides with votes in the House of Representatives, we host the Zoom in the lobby off the floor of the House, thereby allowing members to participate and to pray with us and allow the team to pray for them.

The Mother of Parliaments

It has been a blessing to carry the greetings of the U.S. Congress to the Westminster Prayer Breakfast, and we are similarly honored to help members of Congress nurture and maintain their trans-Atlantic relationships with their peers in the London.

"Wherever you

  go"

Joshua tells us, "the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” We are called to pray for the nations. “All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him, for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations.” â€â€Psalms‬ ‭22‬:‭27‬-‭28‬ ‭NIV‬‬
